1. Los Angeles, CA
   Day 1 | Board in Los Angeles

   Guests board at the iconic 1939 Los Angeles Union Station, a Mission/Streamline Moderne masterpiece. Settle into your private railcar and enjoy a welcome reception as the train heads through the San Fernando Valley toward the Pacific.

2. Santa Barbara, CA
   Day 1 | The American Riviera

   An early-afternoon stop at the lovely 1905 Mission-Revival depot in Santa Barbara, just blocks from the beach and the red-tile roofs of State Street, with the Santa Ynez Mountains rising behind the city.

3. Pacific Coast
   Day 1 | 100 Miles Along the Pacific

   The afternoon's centerpiece: roughly 100 miles of unbroken Pacific Ocean running between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo, including Vandenberg Space Force Base and the wild beaches of the Gaviota Coast - views accessible only by train.

4. Paso Robles, CA
   Day 1 | Central Coast Wine Country

   A late-afternoon service stop at the 1942 Mission-Revival depot in this central-coast college town. Beyond the city the train passes through Paso Robles wine country and into the Salinas Valley of Steinbeck country.

5. Oakland, CA
   Day 1 | The Bay at Twilight

   Evening brings the San Francisco Bay Area: stops at San Jose's elegant Diridon Station, Oakland's Jack London Square, and Emeryville with skyline views of the city across the bay and a glimpse of the Bay Bridge.

6. Dunsmuir, CA
   Day 2 | Cascade Mountain Morning

   Wake near Dunsmuir in the shadow of 14,179-foot Mount Shasta, with the snow-capped volcano dominating the horizon for nearly an hour as the train follows the upper Sacramento River north through old-growth forest.

7. Chemult, OR
   Day 2 | Klamath Falls and the High Cascades

   The train climbs out of Klamath Falls past Upper Klamath Lake and Odell Lake, cresting the Oregon Cascades through 22 tunnels at over 4,800 feet � among the most dramatic mountain railroading in America.

8. Eugene, OR
   Day 2 | Heart of the Willamette Valley

   Early afternoon brings Eugene and a run up the Willamette Valley past farms, vineyards, and small Oregon towns, with Mount Hood rising on the eastern horizon as the train approaches Portland.

9. Portland, OR
   Day 2 | Crossing the Columbia

   A mid-afternoon service stop at Portland's iconic 1896 Union Station, then a spectacular crossing of the wide Columbia River into Washington with views of Mount Hood astern and Mount St. Helens to the north.

10. Tacoma, WA
    Day 2 | Mount Rainier and Puget Sound

    An evening stop at Tacoma Dome Station with views of Commencement Bay and 14,411-foot Mount Rainier on the horizon. The train then runs along the southern reach of Puget Sound into Seattle.

11. Seattle, WA
    Day 2 | Arrive in Seattle

    Pull into Seattle's beautifully restored 1906 King Street Station, in the shadow of its iconic clock tower in Pioneer Square. Disembark as your West Coast journey concludes.
