Discover the journey
Blue Ridge & Bayou
Departs from New Orleans, LA (NOL) and arrives in New York, NY (NYP)
Enjoy approximately 32 hours onboard
Leave New Orleans in the morning and arrive in Manhattan the following evening, with a continent's worth of change in between. Your private railcar glides out across Lake Pontchartrain, water on both sides and the morning sun on the cypress. The pine woods and slow rivers of Mississippi follow, then the iron ridges of Alabama and the last light over the Appalachian foothills at dinner. Atlanta's skyline glitters past as you settle in for the night, and you are asleep in your bedroom while Georgia and the Carolinas pass in the dark. Morning brings the Virginia Piedmont and the long blue line of the mountains on the horizon, horse farms and vineyards in full sun. The afternoon carries you past the Capitol dome and up the great cities of the Northeast Corridor, until the Manhattan skyline rises across the Meadowlands.
The pace is unhurried, the table is set with the flavors of each region you pass through, and every mile of it is yours alone.
